Week 44 in LA--Hello Everyone

Hello how are you? This week went pretty good.

On Monday we went to little Tokyo again. We walked around in the hot sun but we had a lot of fun. We then came back and did some more proselyting.

Tuesday we helped the senior couple over housing move things into our garage for like a couple of hours. We then had studies and then we went out and nothing really came of that. :/

Wednesday was the 4th of July and we had to be in 6 so we sat around and then watched fireworks all night it was pretty fun but I got a little homesick at the end.

Thursday we had a pretty good district meeting and we worked and hung up flyers for the chapel tours.

Friday we weekly planned inside when it was 102° outside and like almost 70% humidity. We had to go pick up some other Elders because their tire on one of the bikes melted and that was pretty crazy to hear 😥.

Saturday we did service like all day. We first went to a food bank, then we helped the senior missionaries again (they call almost daily) then we had an appointment with the ward Relief Society president, then we came back changed and helped a Russian family move in by moving furniture and then building the furniture because they had just flown in that day. We got 2 dinner appointments though so that helped a lot with the work we did. (IT WAS ALSO 102 AND HIGH HUMIDITY).

Sunday we had a nice relaxing day of proselyting and high heat.

Today we visited the holocaust museum again with Sisters in our district it was quite fun.

Have a great week!

Elder Cox
