Week 32 in LA--This Week Was Basic

Just as the title says, this week was pretty basic. 

Monday we just hung out pretty much. 

Tuesday we went out and visited some people and had some weird convos, hahaha . 

Wednesday we had a dinner with a less active family and the hisdanf (**I (mom) have no idea what this is supposed to say??) is like a supper buff body builder. 

Thursday we just went out and worked. It was pretty hot so we got a little sun burnt. 

Friday we weekly planned and called a ton of people for a ward dinner. 

Saturday we had the ward dinner and the food was really good. We also got to just talk with the members and get to know them better. 

Sunday we had a good turn out, we also met a nice sister from Utah, she grew up in West Valley. So she liked to talk to me and Elder Vola who is also from there.

Week 31 in LA—Welcome to LA

Whats up everyone? My week has been great, the area is awesome and I have had some funny experiences.

So on Monday, we packed and got the apartment ready for transfers 

Tuesday we said goodbye and I headed up to Wilshire, I live in a big apartment with 4 Elders in it. I forgot to mention that my new companion is Elder Whitmore, we cover the north part of the Wilshire Ward, Elder Vola and Montgomery cover the south. We also live with Elder Park amd Elder Yi. They are cool Elders. After I got settled we went out and worked and got a New Investigator named Afework and set a Baptismal date. It was supper cool. 

Wednesday we worked the area again and we met a guy named Elias, we talked to him and he became a new investigator, he is "golden." We had Ward coordination and I got to meet the Ward Mission leader and I also got to hear all about the ward. Durring that meeting they asked me to create and run the wards Facebook Page and Group, it has been fun to do that as well. 

Thursday we have district meeting on Thursdays. So we had District Meeting Elder Whitmore is our district leader. After we finished we went to the Visitor Center because both of the missionaries in our ward had a tour so we went together because Elder Whitmore and I don't have a car, we ride the bus. We were there the rest of the day because we weekly planned as well. 

Friday I went on exchanges with the Zone Leaders in their area, which is in Spanish so, I had to sit there while they talked and taught in Spanish. But we had a good day and that was good. 

Saturday we had 2 lessons that didn't happen so we just went out and worked. 

Sunday we had 2 non members come to church and we will be meeting with them, also the Chappel that I meet in if so beautiful look it up the address is 1209 s Manhattan Place Los Angeles, CA. You won't be disappointed.

Week 30 in LA--Transfers Have Come Again......

Well, I guess you want the important news first, so I'll save it till the end! Haha. So here is my week. 

Monday we went to a parkor arena and messed around climbing on stuff, doing flips. It was really fun. 

Tuesday we went on exchanges with our district leader (Elder Halverson). I went to Lawndale the area which was fun. We biked around and talked to people and had some good poly food for dinner. 

Wednesday we had a regular day tracking and having fun and just hanging. Our apartment has a bad spider problem so we stayed the night at the zone leaders place.

Thursday we had another regular day, we then slept at Elder Styers apartment. I was also sick Thursday and Wednesday, but I'm better now. 

Friday we had District Meeting and service and  that is about it

Saturday we watched General conference at the Sizemores and had a fun time. 

Sunday we still watched conference and we got crazy news and it was awesome. We got our transfer call..... Elder Albuquerque is leaving, and I am leaving too. I'm going up north to Los Angeles , to serve in the Wiltshire ward. They go to one of the oldest buildings in the area. I'm excited to get a change and help more people. That's it for today thanks.

Sister Sizemore took some pictures but she hast sent them to me I'll send them as soon as I get them. 

1. I (mom) never got any pictures from Zach. I did get a picture from Tone Halverson (Elder Halverson's mom) of Austin and Zach when they were on transfers together. Zach's bike tire popped so they took a picture.

2-4. Matt looked on LDS Tools and found the area and church where Zach will be serving. The church is really cool looking.
